Our Story
SJP Services Group is a virtual accounting and CFO practice that opened in the summer of 2020. We’re located in TN, but due to being virtual, we can work with clients in surrounding states such as KY and IN as well as across the US. Wherever you are, we provide you with our affordable and proven CFO service that leads you along the path to a growing and more profitable business. If all of the numbers and accounting jargon leaves you confused and overwhelmed, don’t worry— we’re here to sort it out. We understand how the unfamiliar can burn you out, so we bring both our number skills and people skills to help you make it through. Along with our mission to build close relationships with our clients, we crunch the numbers and help them make sense in an easily understandable way. Sophie Plappert
Founder and Owner
An Indiana native, Sophie Plappert has called Nashville home for over a decade. Graduating from Belmont University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, she has over ten years of experience in accounting, wealth management, and financial planning. Having experienced many sides of the financial services world, Sophie has developed a passion for helping business owners reach their goals. After leaving her corporate job in 2020 in search of more flexibility and a way to make a bigger impact, she started SJP Services Group. Sophie enjoys spending her free time with her husband Ryan, daughters Molly and Rosie, and rescue lab Ellie.
Abbey Morton
Client Services Specialist
Abbey has a Bachelor’s degree in education and worked as a teacher for three years before starting her family. She joined SJP Services Group in March 2021 as our Client Services Specialist. She excels in collaboration with business owners to manage daily transactions and maintain consistent support. Abbey lives in Minneapolis and enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her husband and two children.
